Academy of Management Conference 2022 - Celebrating my Year as Division Chair

August 5-9, 2022, the annual Academy of Management conference took place in Seattle, Washington, USA. It was the first on-site AOM conference since 2019. For me, it was a special edition as I wrapped up my year as the Division Chair of the Academy of Management Division Chair. During this year, it was an amazing honor and pleasure to work with all the leaders, volunteers, and members of the division. Among other things, we managed to set up an infrastructure for (social) media policies and practices, we continued the division's mentoring program, and we recorded several videos with prominent career scholars and former award winners. The division also approved a change to our bylaws. During the conference in Seattle, I enjoyed being among colleagues and friends again to talk about research and life outside of work. The year as division chair went by way too fast!
